Are you seeking more depth in your spiritual journey?
Windsor Presbyterian Church will host a one-hour song, meditation and silence event to help you rediscover your spiritual center. The In*Spire Duo from Westminster Woods in Occidental will use traditional music from the Taize community in France and go beyond to create a unique meditative experience for those familiar with the genre and those brand new to Taize. Based in a Christian faith tradition, the music and silence is also open to a more inter-spiritual audience as we explore light and darkness and how our minds and hearts need both in balance to connect with the Divine Mystery of our Universe.
This is a free family-friendly event. All, including children, are welcome to participate or simply listen to the beautiful music, though the very youngest may struggle to be still and in the moment for an hour. We have found that older teens and young adults particularly appreciate the opportunity to explore their own spirituality without the words and formality of more traditional worship services.
